Nancy Drew in music

After a long hiatus I thought I’d better come out from hibernation. Apart from other things I thought I’d let you know that I’ve been busy with my new project – my Nancy Drew page. Or Kitty Drew as she’s called in Sweden.

The page can be found here, on that page I write articles about, the books, the writers, the characters, the illustrators and things of that sort. It’s a true detective job. But somebody’s got to do it. One slight snag of english speaking folks is that it’s in Swedish. But with the translator feature it’s perfectly solvable.

Playlist and attitude

While making that page, I also started to compile a playlist with music fitting for Nancy Drews groove. It’s full of americana, suspence, mysteries, ghosts and things of that nature. I think it’s kind of fun and it can be found here.

One thing that I did notice is that none of the actual movies included music fitting for how I see Nancy. I hope they do something about that for the upcoming movie. No more punk-pop-girls. Thank you.
